## Projects, scripts & apps

A selection of tools and platforms I have designed, automated and shipped.

- **GitOps pipeline platform** - Argo CD-based delivery platform with automated rollbacks, drift detection and preview environments for 12 microservices.
- **Zero-downtime deploy script** - Bash and Ansible toolkit that blue-green deploys Docker services behind Traefik with health-check gates and instant rollback.
- **Observability stack** - Prometheus, Loki and Grafana deployment with prebuilt dashboards and alerting rules wired to Slack and PagerDuty.
- **Serverless cost monitor** - Python app that tags, tracks and reports cloud spend daily, cutting an unused-resource bill by surfacing idle workloads.
- **K8s homelab cluster** - Self-hosted three-node Kubernetes cluster running GitOps, backups with Velero and encrypted secrets via Sealed Secrets.
- **IaC module library** - Reusable Terraform modules for VPCs, EKS and RDS used across multiple client projects with automated compliance checks.

- **CI/CD** - GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Argo CD, automated testing and release management.
- **Monitoring** - Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry, SLO design and on-call runbooks.
- **Security** - Secrets management, image scanning, least-privilege IAM and network hardening.

## Engineer first, automator always

I am a DevOps engineer who believes infrastructure should be boring - versioned, tested and rebuilt from scratch at any moment. My work sits where developers and operations meet: pipelines, platforms and the scripts that hold them together.

I got here the hands-on way: administering servers, breaking clusters in homelabs and fixing them, then turning every incident into a script so it never happens twice. Documentation and automation beat heroics every time.

What drives me is the moment a team deploys confidently on a Friday afternoon - because the pipeline, the rollback path and the alerts are all already in place.

## From audit to automation

1. **Audit** - We map your current setup: repos, pipelines, infrastructure and pain points.
2. **Design** - I propose an automation plan with priorities, tooling choices and a rollback path.
3. **Build** - Pipelines, IaC and monitoring go live incrementally, verified in staging first.
4. **Handover** - Documentation, runbooks and a walkthrough so your team owns the platform.
